Here are a pair of Aqua Runners manufactured by the Aqua jogger company which I have used for about 25 years. I am going to include some information at the end of this listing which gives you more detail about me, my experience and aquatic exercise, but for the sake of this auction, here are the details of this item.
These are brand new in style, form and function. The old Runners had velcro, here there is none. They are one size fits all, both for men and women, blue in color. They have many points of form fitting, hopefully you can see that in the first photo. This is resistance footgear to enhance your workout and stimulate those leg muscles.

Warning! These things want to float! They will seek the water surface and your job is to get them under control and push them under water beneath you, then workout with them! They are wonderful in the way they challenge your body, the goal is to get your legs under control, once you've accomplished that, the actual workout begins! They're truly awesome!
They could also be worn on the hands for a "no-grip" upper body workout, although I personally prefer webbed gloves and/or tubing/foam dumbbells for upper body.
The same instruction manual provided with the Jogger is provided with these also. I have not increased prices since 2007. I've looked around and see that I am grossly under priced with a profit of less than a dollar! So here is my price for 2009.

With respect to shipping, they are so light weight that Priority Mail may be cheaper than Parcel Post, so when you get to that calculation part of the listing, I have it set up so you can look at both, compare, and decide what is best for you. Without getting into too much detail, I can tell you that in some circumstances that this will be the case, but maybe not for you. It all comes down to the cost of the box that I use to ship it in, and they do need to go in a box. And I do count nickles and pennies, you have to in this economy. So, check it out! I am a certified personal trainer, water fitness instructor, spent my youth on a swim team, years as on a synchronized swim team, am an avid step aerobics fanatic, weight lifter, and I pulled from all of these experiences to coordinate a one hour class using the Aqua Jogger as the basis. If you are familiar with the trademarked Body Pump Program, my class is like Body Pump in the water. All you need is an aqua jogger a pair of webbed gloves, and maybe a few other water toys, (noodle to sit on, water bells) and you've got all you need to turn your pool into a home gym! That 's how I make my living, teaching people how to do this.
Deep water running is an awesome experience for somone who has been limited in movement for a variety of reasons. This product is perfect for those who are looking for a new athletic challenge, have arthritis, pregnant, obese, have had joint replacements, fibromyalgia, etc.
I do not encourage the purchase of a "kit" where you get all of the equipment in one box. I do not sell them even though the profit margin is higher. The "joggers" in these kits are generic one size fits all, and the "economic" inferior jogger. I think that I have a better "economy jogger". Additionally, the dumb bells that come with these kits are not to be used all of the time, I use them for about 10 minutes out of a 45 minute class. You get a lot more bang for your buck using webbed gloves for arm exercises, and I have read too many articles on shoulder injuries from chronic use of these aqua dumb bells (I am also a member of the American Aquatic Association and read their journal religously). With the use of gloves, you are mimicking free weights in a gym, except of course you are in the water.
If you need any Aqua Jogger product, I can help you with that since I am an Aqua Jogger distributor. I teach at least one class per day, year round, and can address almost any issue that you may have. I will even be so bold as to include a photo of myself since I got so many requests for this. Aquatics is not just a Senior activity...if you're ever in Fort Myers, look me up and jump in our pool for one of my classes. I've done the "country club" circuit which is the "in" thing where I live, and after a few years started my own business so I now teach all of my classes and swimming lessons out of my house. So if I'm not at the computer, I'm in the pool blasting my stereo and yelling at the top of my lungs, or teaching a toddler to swim. If I'm not here, I'm at the beach wind surfing. At age 53, I keep it as intense as it can get, Use it or lose it!
